Rooms are blocked at the Daxton in downtown Birmingham. The Daxton is a 5 minute walk from our welcome party venue as well as many other stores and restaurants in the downtown area. Shuttle service will also be provided from the Daxton to our wedding venue and back.

The Holiday Inn Express is 10-15 minutes away from downtown Birmingham and our welcome party venue. Shuttle service will be provided from the Holiday Inn to our wedding venue and back.

I plan on flying in. What airport should I use?

DTW is the closest airport. It is accessible via most air carriers, but is a Delta hub.

Do I need to rent a car?

Probably not unless you really want to. Downtown Birmingham is a ~40 minute uber from the airport, but we have thoughtfully designed the the wedding weekend so that your transportation needs will be largely taken care of the rest of the time. Birmingham has one of the most popular downtowns in the area for shopping and eating, so we promise there is plenty to see there in your downtime.

Shuttle Information

Ceremony & Reception Transportation -

Daxton Hotel : Guests may start loading onto the shuttle at 3:45 PM and the shuttle will depart at 3:55 PM. The shuttle will depart Daxton Hotel and head to Holiday Inn Express. Guests may start loading onto the shuttle at 4:05 PM and it will depart for Shepherd's Hollow at 4:10 PM. It will arrive at Shepherd's Hollow for ceremony at 4:45 PM.

End of the Night Shuttle -

The shuttle will take guests back at 9:00 PM and then do another shuttle service at the end of the wedding at 10:30 PM .
